1. Who we are
Fast Basket is an online retailer serving customers in Bangladesh. In this policy, “Fast Basket”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to the operator of this storefront.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, place or track an order, request a cancellation or refund, save products, or contact us. This can include your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, account credentials, order details, support messages and refund information.
We also receive limited technical information needed to secure and operate the service, such as request logs, device or browser details, authentication session data, and local preferences stored by your browser.
3. How we use information
- To create accounts, authenticate customers and protect the storefront.
- To confirm, fulfil, deliver, cancel, return and refund orders.
- To provide customer support and communicate service updates.
- To maintain product availability, prevent misuse and improve reliability.
- To meet record-keeping, consumer-protection and other legal obligations.
4. When information is shared
We may share only the information reasonably required with delivery partners, payment or refund providers, hosting and infrastructure suppliers, professional advisers, and public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell customer personal information.
Our optional storefront support chatbot is provided by Botlite. Loading the widget connects your browser to Botlite; opening a chat starts a support session, and messages you choose to send are processed by that service. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive information in chat. The widget is not displayed on account, sign-in, checkout or administration screens.
With your optional advertising-cookie consent, the Meta Pixel shares shopping events with Meta for advertising measurement and optimisation. Our events contain product identifiers, quantities and value/currency, not your email, phone number, delivery address, order notes or account credentials. Meta also receives page and browser information through its technology and may use cookies. Automatic advanced matching and automatic form-based event collection are not part of this integration. 5. Storage, security and retention
We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards designed to protect customer information. No online system can guarantee absolute security. We retain information only for as long as it is needed for orders, support, dispute handling, fraud prevention, accounting and applicable legal requirements, then delete or anonymise it where practical.
6. Your choices and rights
You may update available account details, choose whether optional cookies are allowed, and ask us to access, correct or delete personal information where applicable. Some order and transaction records may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons.
7. Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies keep secure sessions working. Browser storage remembers your basket, wishlist, theme, recent searches and privacy choice. See our Cookie Policy for details and controls.
Some product videos use YouTube. The visible product-video section can start one muted video and continue to the next. You can turn off Auto-play next or pause a video. A YouTube player loads only when its video is selected for playback, automatically or by you. This connects your browser to Google/YouTube, which may process technical information and use browser storage under their own policies. See the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service. Uploaded product videos do not require loading the YouTube player.
8. Children and third-party links
This storefront is not intended for children to use independently. A parent or legal guardian should place an order for a minor. Links to third-party services are governed by those services’ own privacy practices.
9. Contact and changes
For a privacy request, use the Fast Basket WhatsApp support link available on the storefront and provide enough information for us to verify and respond to your request. We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change; the date above shows the latest revision.
