1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small values a website can store or receive with browser requests. Local storage is information kept in your browser for a site. They help the storefront remember secure sessions and shopping preferences.
2. Essential use
Fast Basket uses secure authentication cookies to keep signed-in sessions working. Browser storage is also used for your basket, wishlist, display theme, recent searches and saved cookie choice. These functions are necessary or requested by you and continue when you choose “Necessary only”.
3. Optional use
When you choose “Accept all”, Fast Basket can load the Meta Pixel to measure visits, product views, basket additions, checkout starts and successfully placed orders, and help improve advertising. Meta may receive product identifiers, quantities, order value in BDT, the page address and technical browser information, and may use advertising cookies such as _fbp and _fbc. We do not include checkout contact details, delivery addresses or order notes in our tracking events. Meta processes information under its Privacy Policy.
Advertising tracking stays off before a current choice is saved, when you choose “Necessary only”, and on account, authentication and administration screens. No advertising tracking image is included for visitors with JavaScript disabled. A new privacy choice is requested when this advertising integration is introduced.
4. Your choices
Choose “Necessary only” or “Accept all” in the privacy notice. You can reopen Cookie preferences from the footer at any time. Changing to “Necessary only” stops new advertising events from our integration; it does not retract information already sent to Meta. You can also clear or block storage in browser settings, but blocking essential storage can sign you out or prevent basket and checkout features from working as expected.
5. Duration and changes
Session cookies can end when a session expires. Local preferences stay until you clear them, replace them or the storefront changes its consent version. We update this page when storage practices materially change.
